Cori Ward is an artist, wanderer and an altruist. She
pursues life without abandon and tries to be fully present to the world around
her. Her story is imperfect and messy, but it is filled with cherished family
and friends. Ward strives to make time to create art that reflects an untamable
wild, like the rugged Colorado National Monument depicted in this painting. She
loves acrylic landscapes, bright colors, angles and florals. She feels drawn to
things that help her grow and hopes her paintings reflect the process, beauty
and often harsh reality of life. She believes people need to create and choose
gratitude, kindness and hope.
