Colorado Day: Did you know?

Okay, so you probably did know that Colorado is called the Centennial State. And you likely know that it’s because our state was founded in 1876 which was also America’s 100th birthday.

Too easy? Did you know that the first Teddy Bear was created here in Colorado when maids at Glenwood Springs’ Hotel Colorado crafted it as a gift for a famous hotel guest – Theodore Roosevelt.

We hope this dollop of history will make you more bullish than bearish about joining us at Alpine Bank as we celebrate Colorado Day on August 1.

Join the fun by entering to win a Colorado proud Otterbox cooler at any of Alpine Bank’s 40 locations—enter between 9am, July 8 and 6pm on August 1. Drawings will be on August 5. For full contest rules click, here.

And stop by any Alpine Bank to pick up your free Adopt a Shelter Pet commemorative Colorado license plate sticker.

Happy Colorado Day!
