Acclaimed artist Chula Beauregard spent her childhood in the Colorado mountains. After graduating with honors from Whitman College as a studio art major, she volunteered for the peace core, spending two years in Gabon, Central Africa. Her interest later turned toward teaching fine art, obtaining a Master’s in education. In 2008, she began her professional painting career in her hometown of Steamboat Springs. When not in the studio, she explores the West with her two sons and husband. She is currently represented by the Broadmoor Galleries in Colorado Springs and the Jace Romick Gallery in Steamboat Springs.
