Award-winning artist Chula Beauregard was born and raised in the Colorado mountains. After graduating cum laude from Whitman College as a studio art major, she served for two years in Gabon, Central Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer. Later, she earned her master’s degree in education to teach fine art. In 2008, she began her professional painting career in her hometown of Steamboat Springs. When she is not in the studio, she wanders the West with her two boys and her husband. She is currently represented by the Broadmoor Galleries in Colorado Springs and the Jace Romick Gallery in Steamboat Springs.
