Meet Rochelle Obechina

Alpine Bank Wealth Management Client Support Associate

Rochelle Obechina’s career path has taken her from the peaks of mountains to the front lines of national disasters, and everything in between.

She’s been with Alpine Bank since 2018 and made the jump to Wealth Management* in 2023 as a Client Support Associate. Obechina has shown exceptional communication and leadership skills in her new role.

For Obechina, having fun at work means starting the day with a great cup of coffee.

“Plus, sharing LOL moments with co-workers is invariably fun,” she added.

Time away from work is spent hanging out with family and friends, especially in the great outdoors. The Obechina family is also a big supporter of the MC-1 Foundation.

The MC-1 Foundation is a 100% volunteer organization that provides financial support to public service employees that are injured while on duty.

“We support in memory of my older brother who was a deputy sheriff,” explained Obechina.

Alpine Bank sponsors the annual MC-1 Honor Run, which is held every September in Jefferson County.

Little known fact, Obechina (in her 20s) drove from Colorado to Alaska in a sports car. While visiting the 49th state, she hiked the Chilkoot Trail.

“I thought the Alcan Highway was like I-70, it’s not,” Obechina recalled. “But life is too short, to not go for an adventure!”
