Trust officer Jennifer Hawley brings a decade of experience in human resources — with a focus on employee benefits and retirement plan administration — to Alpine Bank Wealth Management clients in Mesa, Delta, Montrose and Ouray counties. A longstanding resident of western Colorado, she earned her bachelor’s in business administration from Colorado Mesa University.
Jennifer credits her upbringing with sparking her interest and career in business and finance. And now it’s come full circle as she’s a wife and mother herself.
“I’m the daughter of a financial advisor and I just celebrated my twentieth year of investing,” says Jennifer. “Dad’s wisdom and guidance during my childhood shaped my financial story, and inspired my passion for financial literacy for people of all ages.”
Outside of work hours, Jennifer pedals her Peloton bike and listens to an inspiring podcast — or she gets outside with her children, husband and the family’s miniature goldendoodle, Maggie.
“I enjoy crafting with my kids and golfing with my husband. We also camp and paddleboard as a family.” Jennifer relishes competitive board games and trivia. “I love a great game night!”
Her volunteer time centers around her daughter’s Girl Scouts troop and the third- and fourth-grade Fruita Recreation League volleyball team — for which she serves as coach.
Another area of focus and community involvement is the Giving Club, which she recently joined. “I’ve enjoyed hearing about the good work of local nonprofits in Mesa County, and supporting this group of generous and charitable women.”
