Daniel Wiggins is an assistant vice president and investment officer at Alpine Bank Durango with nearly two decades’ experience in fiduciary portfolio management. In addition to investments, Daniel also brings expertise in commercial and industrial banking and worked on some of Alpine Banks’ most complex credits in a role he had prior to joining the wealth management division in 2022.
Daniel holds a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Arizona State University, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado.
Living in Durango, he takes great pleasure in the mountain lifestyle and finds opportunities to get outside regularly. “I love anything outdoors,” he says. “Hiking, snowboarding, biking, mushroom hunting, you name it — most often with the whole family.”
His volunteer efforts and charitable giving focus on empowering women. “Growing up with a single mother, I’ve chosen to support the Women’s Resource Center in Durango,” says Daniel. “I’ve been on their board and support them at numerous local fundraising events.”
