Banking with a COS

You value community. You lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, because helping each other is what life is all about.

Here at Alpine Bank, we learned many years ago that the success of the bank reflects the well-being of the communities we serve. We are proud to call Colorado home, and you inspire us to make the places we live, work, and play, the best they can be.

In that spirit, Alpine Bank is rolling out a new initiative in Colorado Springs called the COS Crew.

The COS Crew will be positioned across Colorado Springs performing random acts of caring. This could be a full parking meter, a gift card to a local show, or a free meal. It’s a way for Alpine Bank to meet our new neighbors while supporting nonprofit organizations, community groups, and people like you.

For more than 50 years, Alpine Bank has been serving the banking needs of Colorado. The bank’s newest branch is in downtown Colorado Springs at the corner of Colorado and South Cascade avenues.

“We exist to help our communities grow, and we have a longstanding tradition of giving back, both financially and through volunteer hours,” said Alpine Bank Market President Matthew Hanson. “We truly believe what’s good for you is not only good for us— it’s great for the whole community.”

Each year, Alpine Bank provides 24 hours of paid volunteer time to every employee to give back to their own communities. In 2023, Alpine Bank donated over $6 million to nonprofits and community organizations across the state.

“We care about our customers, our communities, and our employees,” said Hanson. “Banking with a COS is just one more way we’re giving back to our community, and we can’t wait to see it grow and continue to thrive.”

As part of the COS Crew initiative, Alpine Bank encourages you to share your own caring. Small acts of kindness can go a long way, so hold a door open, donate your time, pay it forward, or just give a smile to a stranger. These types of efforts help build caring in our communities.

The COS Crew will be visiting locations across Colorado Springs and neighborhoods in El Paso County throughout 2024 and beyond. BeCOS we care. Join the crew!
