Family is his first love. But single-track descents and bluegrass music are a close second for this Glenwood Springs native.
In fact, the Senior Vice President for Alpine Bank Glenwood Springs, Kent Wilson, has been front and center at the iconic Telluride Bluegrass Festival for 28 consecutive years. This music fan plays guitar too, in the band at Mountain View Church.
You’ll likely spot him in the bleachers in his off time as well, supporting his daughters’ athletics and wife Jill’s triathlon competitions.
Kent’s community service includes 18 years on the LIFT-UP board–most of them as treasurer, board leadership with Kiwanis Club, and support of Imagine Glenwood, the organization working on enforcing traffic–regulation measures throughout town.
Consistency is the constant for Kent with his career, community, and avocations. “I thrive on the sense of accomplishment and helping others,” says Kent. “I enjoy getting to know my clients, building a relationship and helping them meet their financial needs and goals.”
