Banker, wife, mom, motorcyclist, camper and history buff.
Jody Baehr—the wildly efficient operations supervisor at Alpine Bank Glenwood Springs—is arguably the glue that holds the day-to-day bank operations together.
But when she’s not helping her team help customers, you might find her in the desert in her camp chair, glued to a thick history book. Jody is fascinated by the people, places, events and ideas that shaped our world today.
“I love U.S. history in particular,” says Jody. “If I could have lunch with anyone, I’d channel Abe Lincoln.”
In addition to historical fiction, movies and documentaries, she also loves a good long motorcycle ride, crocheting and spending time with her family. This 20-year veteran of Alpine Bank is a familiar face in the community, too. She teaches financial literacy to elementary students through the Junior Achievement program. And she’s a Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association ambassador, doing her part to nurture business and community relationships.
