Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) has announced the public launch of its inaugural fundraising campaign, Roadrunners Rise, aiming to raise $100 million to establish the university as a leader in social mobility.
Initiated in fall 2020, the campaign has already secured nearly $76 million during its silent phase, thanks to significant contributions from donors like Gina and Frank Day, who pledged $10 million to name the MSU Denver Health Institute—the largest philanthropic gift in the university’s history.
The public phase of the campaign will commence with a launch event on February 19, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Auraria Event Center. Attendees will receive a limited-edition Roadrunners scarf, an MSU Denver camping mug, and the opportunity to purchase an engraved brick to leave a lasting legacy on campus.
As the campaign enters its public phase, MSU Denver invites alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community members to participate in this fundraising initiative. Together, we can ensure that all Roadrunners rise to their fullest potential.
