Kathryn Porter, Alpine Bank Wealth Management Senior Vice President – Senior Fiduciary Officer, joined the team in 2019. She works with clients from across the Front Range.
For Porter, having fun at work means helping other people. Her role at the bank is such that she regularly uses her skills and knowledge to advise clients and colleagues.
Time away from work is spent with her daughters and grandsons. She especially loves to travel to tropical destinations with them. Porter is also one of three pro bono directors of the Green Fund, a large private foundation established by a deceased best friend.
Gardening and reading are other hobbies, though Porter shared that fixing and restoring “things” is her favorite pastime.
“I am called ‘Grandma Fixit’ by my family,” she said.
Little known facts, Porter was a ski racer in her youth and played competitive tennis. She’s called Colorado home since she was three weeks old.
“I was supposed to be born in Colorado, but arrived prematurely in Lawrence, KS where my father attended college,” Porter explained. “We moved to Denver when I was three weeks old. I consider myself a native.”
