Small Playhouses Offer Big Support for Charities!

This summer the carpenters came out to build five playhouses in the name of charity in Summit County. Summit Association of REALTORS®, along with the Summit Daily News, helped coordinate “The Playhouse Project”, which was hosted by the Town of Dillon. These little playhouses were sponsored by businesses. Alpine Bank was honored to commission a playhouse for Habitat for Humanity. This unique event placed the houses at Marina Park in Dillon and Dillon’s Farmers Market from June 28 thru August 9. Kids got to play in the houses, and at the end they were all auctioned off, with the proceeds donated to the Family and Intercultural Resource Center. This was such a success that plans for the second annual Playhouse Project are already in the works. Learn more by visiting their website at playhouseprojects.org.
