Darla Daniel, J.D., leads the Alpine Bank Wealth Management team. She joined the bank in 2020, bringing a career of complex trust and estate knowledge and expertise to the organization. Darla is based in the Denver Tech Center branch.
Prior to becoming the director of the wealth management division earlier this year, she served as vice president and trust counsel for Alpine Bank. Darla has significant experience both as a practicing attorney and trust officer and is past chair of the Trust and Estate section of the Colorado Bar Association.
Born and raised in Colorado, Darla is a graduate of Wheatridge High School and the University of Colorado Law School, where she served as an adjunct professor. She earned her undergraduate degree in philosophy at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a year of study in Spain.
“I enjoy mentoring and teaching law students and young lawyers,” says Darla. Another passion of hers is reading and literacy. “I’m a big supporter of the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation.”
In her leisure time she’s likely reading, gardening, listening (or dancing) to music, or playing with her two energetic Corgis. “Molly and Gracie make every day fun!” A bona fide Trekkie, Darla is also a devoted fan of Star Trek: The Original Series.
