Lead the way with volunteerism in May

Alpine Bank employees that lead the way with volunteerism! We’re sharing stories about our Alpine Bank family and the organizations they serve, all across Colorado. Alpine Bank provides each of its full-time employees with 24 hours of paid volunteer time annually. With 890 employees, we have the potential to provide 21,360 hours of community and nonprofit service each year.

Brett Thompson, Banking Officer, Denver

Organization: CU Denver Business School Alumni Network

Length of volunteer service: Beginning of 2023

Volunteer role: Student Panel Committee

In Brett’s own words: I chose to volunteer at the CU Denver Business School Alumni Network because my other volunteer associates and I want to make sure students are aware of the many resources that are available at the school to assist through their academic careers and working careers, even after you graduate. Being a part of this organization allows me to be in front of the students to answer any questions they may have with their academic courses and the workforce. I may not have the direct answer, but there are plenty of resources to help students get to where they want to be. Not too long ago, I was a student at the CU Denver Business School asking questions such as “How did you get where you are today, or what classes do I need to take?”.

Anne Kellerby, Branch Manager, Battlement Mesa

Organization: Kiwanis

Length of volunteer service: 10 Years

Volunteer role: Program Coordinator

In Anne’s own words: I chose to volunteer there because they do great things in our small community to give back which is also why I love being a part of Alpine Bank.
